Livonia, MI bids farewell to one of its own as the community mourns the passing of Ainsley Johnston, a beloved individual who touched the lives of many. Aged 19, Ainsley will forever be remembered by her family, friends, and the community she enriched.

Born in Livonia, Ainsley was the cherished daughter of Chris and Dana Johnston. She shared a close bond with her brother, Cole Johnston. Her presence brought immense joy to her grandparents, Alexander and Jan Johnston, and Gerald and Paula Cole. Ainsley was a beloved niece to Ryan and Kelly Cole, Jeff and Amy Zemke, and held a special place in the hearts of her cousins, Madi, Reece, Max, Sam, and the late Lydia. Her furry companions, Lucy and Sparty, were also a significant part of her life.

In celebration of Ainsley’s life, a Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday from 3 pm to 8 pm at Fred Wood Funeral Home, located at 36100 Five Mile Rd., Livonia (E. of Levan). The Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, with the Gathering at 1:30 pm and the Service at 2:30 pm at the same location.

Ainsley’s warm and caring nature touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on those she encountered. Her family and friends will remember her as a kind soul who brought joy to everyone around her.

Her departure leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her. In this time of grieving, the family requests that any donations or contributions be made to [charity or cause] in memory of Ainsley Johnston.
